Al-Markaz offers weekly Summer School for children from the ages of five to fifteen. Our objective is to provide a positive and fun learning environment for our youngest audience. We group children into different levels based on their ability. The younger children are taught in a fun and hands on manner to keep them engaged. Story time, art projects, acting, games and word walls are a few techniques combined with traditional teaching.

Teaching for all levels is comprised of learning Arabic, Islamic Studies, Surahs, the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and other Prophets of Islam as well as prayer and ablution techniques. For the older children, opportunities are provided for open discussion on the relevance of Islam to their life. Community building is important to us and we are very pleased to have formed a wonderful, warm and inviting community of children and parents.
